Sachin Doshi Clinic

The clinic is located in the Bawala Building, specifically in room 3/11. We are right on Dattaram Lad Marg in Lal Baug. If you look across the street, you’ll see Indrajit Bakery. The smell of their biscuits usually fills our hallway in the morning. It’s an old building with a lot of history and the stairs are a bit narrow. We’ve been operating out of this space for years. Lal Baug is a very crowded and energetic part of Mumbai, and it can get quite loud outside with the buses and taxis. Inside, we try to keep things organized but it gets a bit cluttered with all the patient files and supplies. There’s a small wooden desk where I sit to handle the registrations. We use a big paper diary for all the bookings because it’s easier than using a computer. The doctor is very busy most days so the waiting area stays full. It’s a simple room with some old posters on the wall and a fan that’s seen better days. We don’t have any marketing or big advertisements. People just know we are here. Most of our patients are from the local chawls and apartments nearby. They like coming here because it feels familiar. It’s just a honest, local clinic where we do our work and help the people who walk through the door. By evening, the area gets even busier.
