If you are looking for S S Brothers, you have to find Gaikwad Compound first. We are on the first floor of building number one. It’s right by the Sri Anjaneya Devalaya Trust here in Byculla. Being on the first floor means we have to carry everything up and down the stairs, which keeps us busy. The area is quite industrial and has that old Mumbai feel to it. We aren't a big company with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, you’ll just find one of us working near the entrance. It gets a bit dusty around here because of all the activity in the compound, but that’s just how it is. We’ve been in this spot for some time. We know the neighbors and the delivery guys well. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. Nothing is very polished or shiny, but we have what we need to get through the day's tasks. Byculla can be crowded, so give yourself some time to get through the narrow lanes. There is usually a lot of loading and unloading happening downstairs too.
