Waris Datar Fly Ash Block & Brick Industis Pvt. Ltd. is a long name for a pretty simple operation. We are located near K G Mall on Uttan Pali Road in Bandra West. Being in Bandra is a bit different than being out in a rural village, but the work is still the same. We focus on fly ash blocks and bricks because that’s what people are asking for these days. The area is quite busy, so we have to be careful with how we move our materials in and out so we don't block the road too much. We aren't some giant corporation with hundreds of employees. We have a small crew and we all know each other. Our office is small and usually has a few piles of papers and samples laying around. We don't use any marketing speak or try to sound like we are changing the world. We are just making blocks for construction. The traffic on Uttan Pali Road can be a headache, but we’ve learned to work around it. People stop by after visiting the mall sometimes to ask about what we do. We just show them the blocks and explain how they are made. It’s practical work and it keeps the lights on. We aren't fancy, just a local business in the heart of the city. We try to stay organized even when the phone is ringing and the street outside is crowded with cars and people.
