Rushabh Eye Hospital & Laser Center

Rushabh Eye Hospital & Laser Center is located on 18th Road in Chembur. We are very close to Ambedkar Garden, which is a nice landmark to have nearby. Sometimes during my lunch break, I’ll walk over there just to see the green trees and people sitting on the benches. Chembur is a busy part of the city, but our street is a little more manageable. The hospital focuses on eyes, so we see a lot of people wearing glasses or holding their eyes after a checkup. The rooms are kept quite dim because bright lights aren't great for the patients here. We have the laser equipment in the back rooms and those areas are kept very clean and quiet. The waiting room has a few old magazines and some wooden chairs. It’s not a very big place, but we make the most of the space we have. On 18th Road, you get a lot of local traffic and people walking to the shops. I’ve been working here for a few years and I know the neighborhood pretty well. The smell of the nearby food stalls sometimes wafts in through the front door in the evening. We close up once the last patient is seen and the sun starts to go down behind the buildings. It’s a steady job in a nice part of Chembur. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do; we just look at eyes all day and help people see a bit better.
