Rotiwala

Rotiwala is sitting right on Fisheries Road in Andheri West. We are in the Jubilee Manor building on L B S Marg. It is a busy stretch of road and there is always something going on outside our door. We mostly handle rotis and basic food items for the people living nearby. It gets very hot in the kitchen, especially during the summer months, but that is part of the job. I have been working here for a while now and I know most of the people who walk past every day. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here. The shop is quite small and we have to stack the flour bags in the corner to make enough room to move. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance for a bit, but we just deal with it. It is a very hands-on kind of place. I usually have flour on my apron by ten in the morning. We don't have fancy seating, just a counter and the stove. It is a bit worn out around the edges but it serves its purpose. We keep the prices where they are so the regulars can come every day without thinking twice. It is just a basic food stall really, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep the fire going and make sure there is enough dough ready for the evening rush.
