Working up on the 21st floor of Oberoi Commerz II gives a pretty good view of the city, even if we're mostly looking at screens all day long. We are located in the International Business Park area of Oberoi Garden City. It’s right off the Western Express Highway, so the traffic can be a real headache in the mornings. Most of us take the train or drive, and then it's just the elevator ride up. The office is usually quiet, except for the hum of the air conditioning. We handle a lot of the administrative and commercial side of things for the company here. It's quite different from the production sites, but someone has to manage the paperwork and the coordination. We spend a lot of time on calls and emails. Lunch breaks are usually quick, sometimes we go down to the local spots or just eat at our desks. There’s a lot of glass and steel around here. It feels very modern, though we try to keep things grounded. The building security is strict, so we always have our badges on us. Dealing with the day-to-day operations keeps us busy from morning till evening. It’s a lot of data, spreadsheets, and logistics planning. We aren't really the face of the brand, more like the gears behind it. It's steady work, and we’ve gotten used to the fast pace of Mumbai life. Sometimes the monsoon makes the commute even longer, but we manage.
