Roquette India Pvt Ltd is located up on the seventh floor of Powai Plaza. Room 702 to be exact. Being in Hiranandani Garden means the surroundings are quite nice, with all the trees and the planned streets, but once you get inside the plaza, it’s all about the work. We spend most of our hours looking at screens or sitting in the small conference room talking through projects. It’s a typical office setup where everyone has their own space and their own pile of things to get through. Powai is a busy hub, so there is always a lot of energy around the building, especially during lunch hours when everyone spills out into the nearby cafes. We’ve been here for a bit, and the office has that lived-in feel where you know exactly which drawer squeaks and which light flickers sometimes. We handle a lot of the Indian operations from here, so there’s a lot of back and forth with other branches. It’s mostly just people in shirts and trousers trying to stay on top of their emails. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few old photos. The view from the seventh floor is okay, but mostly we are focused on what’s on our desks. It’s a steady environment, nothing too crazy happens, and we like it that way because it lets us get the work finished.
