RHA Consultants Private Limited operates out of Sawant Sadan, which is right on Nehru Road in Vile Parle East. This part of Mumbai is always moving, and being on Nehru Road means there is a constant stream of traffic and people outside our windows. We are in shop or unit number four and five. It is an older building with a bit of character, though the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint one of these days. Inside, the atmosphere is pretty relaxed but we stay busy with the various consulting jobs that come our way. We don't really go for the whole corporate look, so you will see mismatched chairs and plenty of paper piles on every available surface. Some days the noise from the street is a bit much, but you get used to it after a while. We spend most of our hours looking at documents and talking through problems that our clients are facing. It is basic work but it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes we order food from the nearby joints when we have to stay late to finish up a report. There is no big reception desk or anyone in a suit waiting at the door. It is just us in a practical space, trying to make sense of the work and making sure we don't lose track of any important deadlines while the city hums along outside.
