We’ve been tucked away in the Prem Court Building on Dinshaw Walcha Road for quite a while now. Being in Churchgate means we get a lot of office workers and students coming through our doors every day. The area is always humming with people moving back and forth, and we’re just one of the many spots where they stop for a break. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. It’s a bit of an old building, so it has its quirks, like the way the light hits the front windows in the afternoon. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen, obviously, just prepping whatever needs to be done for the lunch rush. It gets pretty hectic around midday, and sometimes it feels like we’re barely keeping up with the orders. After the crowd thins out, we finally get a chance to sit down ourselves. We’ve known some of our regulars for years, and it’s nice to see a familiar face among all the tourists who wander in from the station. We don't go in for anything too flashy or modern. It's just a straightforward place to eat in 400020. We focus on the daily tasks, making sure the ingredients are ready and the place is opened up on time. It’s a lot of routine, but we like it that way. We’re just here doing our bit in the middle of Mumbai. It keeps us busy.
