Relish Cookery

You can find us at the Vasant Oscar Complex on LBS Marg in Mulund West. Being right on the main road means there is always the sound of horns and buses going by throughout the day. It is a bit of a trek to get here if the traffic is bad, which it usually is in the evenings. We have got this kitchen setup where we do all our cooking. It is not one of those professional stainless steel places you see on TV shows. It is more like a regular home kitchen but with a few more burners and bigger pots. The cabinets are starting to peel a little at the edges because of all the steam from the pots. We spend a lot of our time washing dishes and chopping onions. Sometimes the trash cans get full faster than we expect and we have to run them out back to the main bins in the complex. There are always people walking through the area, so we see a lot of the same faces every day. We have got some stools for people to sit on, but they are not the most comfortable things in the world. Usually, someone is complaining about the heat because the small window does not let much of a breeze in. We just keep the fans going and get on with whatever we are making that day. It is a lot of manual work.
