You can find us over at 20 Devkaran Mansion, which is situated near the Jama Masjid on Princess Street. This part of town is always crowded and there is a lot of history in these old buildings. Our space is tucked inside the mansion, and it has those high ceilings and thick walls that you don’t see much anymore. It stays relatively cool inside even when the sun is beating down on the street outside. We deal with a lot of different supplies and trade items, so there are usually crates and boxes sitting around waiting to be moved. The stairs in this building are a bit narrow, so moving stuff in and out can be a real chore sometimes. We’ve been operating from here for quite a while and we know all the shortcuts through the alleys to get where we need to go. The street outside is a constant stream of carts, scooters, and people looking for deals. It’s loud and dusty, but that’s just how Princess Street is. We spend our days checking inventory and talking to suppliers who drop by. There is always a pot of tea going in the corner because people are always coming and going. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a big shipment in, but we manage to find a place for everything eventually. It’s a busy, cramped, and noisy life here, but it suits the kind of work we do.
