Ras Interior

You can find us at Ras Interior over in the Borivali West area. We also have things going on at Balewadi 242 23. It’s a bit of a mix between the two spots. In Borivali, the pace of life is always fast and a little bit chaotic. We are usually kept busy with various samples of wood, laminates, and different fabrics spread out everywhere. The workshop floor is often covered in sawdust or small scraps of material. It is a messy kind of job, but that is just how interior work tends to be when you are actually doing it. We don't have one of those big showrooms with fancy lights and staged rooms. Most of the time, we are just working out of the back room. It’s a very local operation. We know all the other shopkeepers on the street. If you come over to Balewadi 242 23, it is a very similar vibe. It's just people working hard with their hands. We don't use any big words to describe the stuff we do. We just take the measurements and try our best to get the pieces to fit right in the space. Sometimes a delivery of materials is late because the Mumbai traffic is blocked up, and we just have to sit and wait. It is frustrating but it is also very normal for us. Ras Interior is just us and a couple of helpers. We use basic tools and a lot of patience to get things finished.
