Rangwala Clinic

Rangwala Clinic is tucked away at Shop No. 3 in the Gulmanor building on 8 Strand Road. We are right next to Hotel Shabnam and very close to the Colaba Market. If you know the area, you know how packed and energetic Colaba is. Opp. Telephone Bhavan is another way people find us. The clinic itself is small, just a shop unit really, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. Because of the location, we get all kinds of people walking in. Some are locals who have lived in Colaba for fifty years, and others are just passing through the market and realized they needed to see a doctor. It’s a noisy part of town with honking cars and people shouting in the market, but once you step inside, it’s a bit quieter. The space is a little tight, so things have to be organized well. We don't have a big fancy reception, just a simple counter and some places to sit while you wait. The walls have been painted the same color for ages. It’s an honest, no-nonsense kind of place. We deal with everyday health issues, the kind of things that happen when you live in a crowded city. Being near the sea means the air is salty, which isn't great for the metal fixtures, but we keep on top of it. It’s a humble spot, but we’ve been here long enough to be part of the furniture on Strand Road.
