Rane Heart Hospital

Rane Heart Hospital sits at No. 37 on Pestom Sagar Road No. 2 in Chembur. It’s a part of the city that feels a bit more settled than the frantic center of Mumbai. The hospital focuses on heart health, which sounds serious because it is. Every morning starts with checking on the patients who had to stay overnight. The machines have their own hum and beeping that you eventually stop noticing after a few hours. We have a mix of staff who have been here for years and some newer faces too. It’s not a massive skyscraper hospital, just a local place on a regular road. People come here when they’re worried about their chest or their blood pressure, and we do what needs to be done. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked with cars, but generally, it’s a manageable spot. We don't have a PR team writing fancy brochures for us. Instead, we just deal with the charts, the stethoscopes, and the families waiting in the hallway. The chairs in the waiting room are functional, and the floors are kept clean, which is what matters. Chembur has a lot of history, and being tucked away in Pestom Sagar gives us a bit of a quieter environment for people recovering. We just take things one patient at a time and try to keep the atmosphere calm, even when things get busy during the middle of the day.
