Rander Stones (P) Ltd.

Our office is over at 201, Western Place on the New Link Road. If you know the Yoginagar area in Borivali West, it’s pretty easy to find. We are Rander Stones (P) Ltd. and we’ve been operating from this building for some time. It’s an office space, so we spend most of our time on the phones or dealing with paperwork for shipments. Stone business is a lot of logistics, really. You have to make sure everything is where it should be. The New Link Road can get packed during rush hour, which makes deliveries a bit of a headache sometimes. We just deal with it. It’s mostly just us in the office, keeping track of orders and making sure the stone gets to the sites on time. We don't have a big showroom here, it’s more of the administrative side of things. We talk to suppliers and customers all day. Borivali is a good place to be based because it’s connected to everything. We have a small team, just a few people handling the accounts and the coordination. It's not a glamorous job, just a lot of checking lists and making sure the measurements are right. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The building is okay, nothing special, but it works for what we need. We've been in the stone trade for a while now and know the ins and outs of the local market. It’s just how we earn our living.
