Raj Graphics is based in Satya Sadan, which is Building No 77 79 on MG Road in the Fort area. This part of Mumbai is always humming with energy. We are tucked away in the building, surrounded by all the history of Fort. Our shop is full of printers, computers, and stacks of different kinds of paper. It can get pretty cramped when we have a big order moving through. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the shops around us change while we stayed the same. It is a bit of a maze getting to us if you don't know the building well. We don't do much in terms of fancy branding for ourselves. Most of our day is spent looking at screens or checking ink levels. The walls are covered in old samples of work we did years ago. It’s not a polished studio. There are cords running across the floor and boxes piled up in the corners. We just focus on getting the prints right and making sure the colors look okay. People drop in from the nearby offices when they need something done quickly. Fort is a great place to work because everything you need is just a short walk away. We like the grit and the pace of this neighborhood. It keeps us busy and there's never a dull moment with the crowds outside on the main road.
