Qamar Clinic

Qamar Clinic is situated inside the Century church building, specifically in shop number 7. We are located on Balaram street, which is a very busy part of Grant Road. If you find the Alankar theatre, you are basically right there; we are just a short walk from it. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character, though the corridors are a bit dark sometimes. Our shop is not very big, but we have managed to fit in everything we need. We have a small partition for the doctor’s area and some chairs for the patients. The floor is old stone that has worn down over the years. Because we are so close to the theatre and the main road, it’s never quiet. You can always hear the sound of the traffic and people shouting. We keep a small water cooler in the corner for anyone who is thirsty. The lighting is just basic tube lights that flicker once in a while. We don't have a big staff, usually just one or two of us here to manage everything. Most people come in because they work in the shops nearby or live in the old apartments around Balaram street. It’s a very practical place. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just show up, open the shutters, and start the day. It’s been our routine for years now, and we’re just part of the furniture at Grant Road.
