Our office is tucked away in Tandel Park, which is a co-op housing society in Satrahati. Being out here in Uran, things feel a bit different than they do in the middle of Mumbai. It’s a lot quieter, and you can actually hear the birds sometimes. We are in block A/7. It’s basically a residential area, so we try to keep things low-key so we don't bother the neighbors. The office itself is just a regular room that we converted into a workspace. It’s got a few desks and a lot of files piled up. Sometimes it feels more like a home than an office, which I guess is what happens when you’re in a housing society. We don’t have any big signs out front or a lobby. People usually just knock and come in. Most of our day is spent on the computer or talking on the phone. The commute into Navi Mumbai can be a bit of a trek if we have to go out, so we prefer staying here and getting things done. It’s a simple life out here in Satrahati. We don’t have a corporate structure or any of that stuff. It’s just us working together to keep things moving. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the furniture is getting a bit old, but it’s our space and it serves us well.
