We’re located in the Krdn Industrial Estate on Link Road in Goregaon East. It’s a typical industrial area, so there’s always a lot of noise from trucks and other units around us. Our space isn't much to look at from the outside, just a big door and some windows that get a bit greasy from the city air. Inside, we have our equipment and work tables where we get things done. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of inventory. We move boxes around, check labels, and make sure things are ready to go out. Goregaon can be a real headache with the traffic on the Link Road, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to leave. We usually start pretty early to beat the heat and the worst of the crowds. The office part of the unit is just a small corner with a desk and a computer that’s a few years old now. We don’t wear suits or anything like that; it’s mostly just jeans and t-shirts because the work is physical. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a bit, so we just take a break and sit outside until it comes back on. It’s just a regular group of people trying to do a good job with what we have. We’ve been in this estate for a while and know the security guards and the other shop owners nearby.
