Project Traniee

Our place is in Borivali West, specifically in the New Ashoknagar area near Vaziranaka. We are on the fifth floor of the D1 building, in flat 503. Mumbai is a very busy city, as everyone knows, and our small office is no exception to that. It’s actually just a converted apartment where we do our Project Traniee work. There isn't much space, so we have to be very careful about where we put things. We have a few computers and a lot of notebooks filled with sketches and plans. The neighborhood of Vaziranaka is quite lively, so there’s always the sound of traffic or people talking outside coming through the windows. We don't have any big signs out front or a fancy entrance. You just take the lift up and knock on the door. Inside, it’s mostly just us sitting around a large table that we use for everything. We drink a lot of tea to keep ourselves going throughout the afternoon. The paint in the hallway is peeling a bit, and the lift is sometimes out of order, which means walking up five flights of stairs. It’s not a corporate headquarters by any means. We are just a small team of trainees putting in the hours and trying to get our projects finished on time. It is practical and honest work, and we don't try to make it seem like more than it is. We usually finish up late and catch the train home with everyone else.
