Pro Soya Foods (I) Pvt. Ltd. is located right in the Churchgate Chamber at New Marine Lines. We are up on the fifth floor in unit 501/2. It’s an old building, but it has a lot of character and it's right in the middle of everything. We focus on soya products, which keeps us pretty busy most of the time. The office is often full of the smell of samples we’re checking. We aren't some massive factory; this is where the planning and the orders happen. Dealing with food products means we have to be careful with the details. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we end up taking the stairs more than we’d like. It keeps us fit, I guess. We have a small team here. We know each other well and we just get on with it. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important work. We spend our days talking to suppliers and making sure the quality is what it should be. The view outside towards New Marine Lines is okay, but we don't spend much time looking out the window. There is always a list of things to do that never seems to get shorter. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things moving forward in our own way. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles or fancy stuff.
