Print House

Print House is tucked away at 6/117 in the Parel Umergaon Building. Parel is a place that never really stops, and we are right in the thick of it. We spend our days surrounded by the smell of ink and the sound of machines running. It can get pretty loud when all the printers are going at once. We do all kinds of stuff, from small cards to bigger posters. It’s a lot of checking colors and making sure the paper doesn't jam. Sometimes the machines are temperamental and we have to spend an hour fixing a small part. That’s just life in a print shop. Our building, Umergaon, is an old one but it’s got character. We’ve got stacks of paper everywhere and samples of work we’ve done hanging up. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. We get a lot of local businesses coming in for their flyers or menus. It’s nice to see what everyone else is working on. We don't do much in the way of advertising ourselves. Most people just walk in or have been coming to us for years. Parel has changed a lot since we started, with big buildings going up everywhere, but we are still here in our little corner. It’s a busy life but we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep the ink flowing.
