We operate out of a flat in Ghatkopar East, up on the third floor of the Anubh building, unit 14 A. It’s more of an office than a home, though it has that lived-in feel. We handle security matters, which mostly means a lot of phone calls and coordinating with people at different sites. The walls are a bit plain, just a few calendars and some schedules pinned up. I spend a lot of time looking at logs and making sure everyone is where they are supposed to be. It can be a bit stressful when things don't go according to plan, but we manage. The building doesn't have a lift that works all the time, so I get my exercise walking up to the third floor. It’s a quiet residential area mostly, so we try not to make too much noise ourselves. We have a small table where we sit to have lunch and talk about the day’s work. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big shift change or a new site to set up. There’s a cat that hangs around the stairs, and we sometimes give it a bit of milk. It’s a straightforward business. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just want to make sure the jobs get done right and everyone stays safe. The office smells like old paper and the incense we burn in the mornings. It’s a small team, and we all know each other well.
