Pradeep Parelkar

Getting to Mukti Chs in Mulund East isn't too bad if you are coming from the station side. Pradeep Parelkar has been operating out of room A-803 for a good while now. It is a Mahada building on Navghar Road, so it has that typical residential feel where everyone knows everyone else’s business. The office isn't really an office in the traditional sense; it is more like a room filled with books, a computer, and a lot of folders. I usually spend my mornings catching up on emails and making sure the paperwork for current projects is in order. Being in Mumbai-81 means dealing with the humidity and the sound of kids playing in the colony compound downstairs. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, and then it is a long walk up to the eighth floor, which is good exercise I guess. I do not have a big team or anything. It is mostly just me handling the clients and making sure things get done properly. People who live in Mulund know how the pace is a bit slower here compared to South Mumbai, which I actually prefer. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people just call the house or come by after work hours. It is a simple life. We have a tea break around four, and that is when most of the real planning happens. It is just a regular local business trying to stay organized and keep the neighbors happy while we work.
