Positive Health Tiffins

We are located right inside the R. A. Poddar Medical College on Dr. Annie Besant Road. If you go to the Poddar Boys Hostel, you will find our canteen on the ground floor. It is a busy spot, especially around lunch and dinner time when the students come in. Worli is a fast place, and being near the Doordarshan building means there is always a lot of activity around us. We focus on making tiffins for the people here. It is not a big restaurant with a menu. We mostly just cook what is needed for the day. The kitchen is always hot and someone is usually busy chopping vegetables or packing boxes. It gets very loud in the canteen when the boys are all there at once. We have been doing this for a while, making sure people get their meals on time. It is a lot of work to keep up with the schedule. The ground floor location is convenient for deliveries. We do not have any fancy decorations or anything. It is just a functional kitchen and some tables for sitting. Sometimes we run out of things or get delayed because of the Mumbai traffic outside on Dr. Annie Besant Road, but we try our best. It is a simple life here in the hostel. We know most of the students and what they like to eat. It feels more like a big family kitchen than a business most of the time.
