Pooja Poly Clinic

Our clinic is in Shop Number 4 of the Omkar Prasad Society, right on Plot 46 in Gorai 2. We’re directly across from the Ajara Bank, so it’s easy for people in Borivali West to find us. It’s a small shop unit, but we’ve divided it up to make it work for different kinds of check-ups. The society is usually busy with people coming and going from the bank and the other shops nearby. We’ve been here in Borivali for quite some time now. The interior is simple, with some plastic chairs for waiting and a desk where we keep all the files. We don't have a big corporate logo or a polished entrance. It’s just a place where you go when you’re feeling under the weather. We see a lot of families from the local housing societies. Sometimes the wait can be a bit long because we only have so much space, but people are generally patient. We spend a lot of our time answering the phone and writing down appointments. The floor gets a bit dirty during the monsoon season with everyone walking in, so we’re constantly mopping it. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s important for the people living in Gorai. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done. It’s a local clinic for local people, plain and simple, and we try to do right by them.
