We’ve been at No. 5 Tiwari Industrial Estate for a good while now, right on Ram Mandir Road in Goregaon West. It’s a busy spot, mostly trucks and small workshops around us. Inside the shop, things are usually a bit cluttered with lens blanks and frame samples scattered on the workbenches. We spend most of the day cutting glass and checking the alignment on the machines. It gets quite noisy when the grinders are running, so we usually have to talk a bit louder to hear each other anyway. The tea guy comes by twice a day, which is when we actually take a break and sit on the stools near the entrance. Most of the people working here have lived in Goregaon for years, so we know the local shortcuts and where to get the best lunch. Our space isn't very fancy or anything, just a lot of shelves filled with boxes and some old tools we still prefer using over the new stuff. Sometimes the power goes out for a few minutes and we just wait it out. It’s just how things go around here. We handle the optics side of things, checking orders and making sure the measurements are right before things get packed up. It's a steady rhythm, nothing too fast or too slow, just the usual work day on Ram Mandir Road. We don't really bother with big signs, just the work itself.
