Pooja Foods

Pooja Foods has a couple of spots, one in Dadar West and another one over in Viman Nagar, Pune at 265/A, N C Kelkar Road. Managing things between two places keeps us pretty busy. We spend a lot of time traveling back and forth. It’s not a glamorous life, mostly just checking on supplies and making sure the staff has what they need. We don't have any big mission statements or fancy goals. We just want to make sure the food tastes like it should every day. Sometimes the Pune location is busier than the Dadar one, and other times it’s the other way around. It’s hard to predict. We aren't a big chain with hundreds of rules. We just do things the way they’ve always been done in our family. The kitchens are loud and usually a bit messy during the rush hours, but that is how you know work is getting done. We don't use expensive advertising. Most people just see our sign while they are walking down N C Kelkar Road and decide to come in. We’ve had the same people working with us for a long time, which helps keep things steady. It’s a lot of effort to keep two locations running, but we are used to the grind. We are just regular people making food for our neighbors in both cities.
