Our office is inside the Lobhas Apartments, right near the Devi Temple in Tilak Chowk. It is a familiar spot for anyone living around Kalyan West. Being on the fourth floor means we get a bit of a view of the street below, which is usually crowded with people heading to the temple or just going about their shopping. The building itself is older, and you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. We have been working out of this space for a while now, and the walls are filled with files and folders from various projects we have handled over the years. It is not a corporate setup with glass walls or anything like that. It is more like a lived-in space where we drink a lot of chai and try to stay on top of our tasks. The bells from the temple are quite loud in the mornings, which is a nice way to start the workday, honestly. Most of the staff here have been with us for a long time, so we all know how each other likes their coffee. We don't have a fancy reception area. If someone comes by, they usually just pull up a plastic chair and we talk. Finding the apartment can be a bit tricky if it is your first time, but once you find Tilak Chowk, you are basically there. It is just a regular place where people work hard and go home at six. We like it here.
