Our place, Pkpl, is situated at 2 1 Kailas Kiran on Tilak Road in Ghatkopar East, Mumbai. If you know Mumbai, you know how Tilak Road is—it's always moving and there’s never a quiet moment. We’ve got a small office here, typical of the space constraints you find in this part of the city. We make the most of what we have and keep the files stacked up where they fit. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of stuff going on at once, but we manage just fine. Working in Ghatkopar means we are right in the middle of everything, which is nice when you need to grab something quick or meet someone nearby. The building itself has been around for a bit, and our office has that lived-in feel to it. It’s not one of those modern glass boxes you see in the newer parts of town. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and head home like everyone else. There’s a lot of noise from the street, especially during the festive seasons, but we’ve learned to work right through it. We don't really do the whole corporate branding thing. We just have our name on the door and we get to work on whatever is on the schedule for that day. It's a simple, honest way to run things in a city that never stops moving.
