Pixion

Our place is at 601 in the Bandra Patel Indutries Estate on Yamuna Mill Road. We are in the Pratapnagar area, which sits right opposite Pali Naka. It’s a very active part of Bandra with lots of people always walking around. The estate building itself is a bit grey and industrial. We are up on the sixth floor, and the elevator can be a bit moody sometimes. Inside, the office is full of tech equipment. We have long tables with multiple monitors and a lot of tangled wires tucked underneath. It’s often a bit dark because we prefer working with the curtains drawn to avoid glare on the screens. There’s a faint hum of cooling fans from the computers all day long. We have a small pantry where we keep the fridge and a microwave. The walls are mostly white but have some marks where we’ve moved furniture around. We don’t really have a reception area, just a door that opens into the main workspace. Sometimes we have pizza delivered when we are working late. The vibe is pretty casual; we mostly wear jeans and t-shirts. Outside, the Pali Naka crossing is always jammed with cars and rickshaws. We usually walk down there if we need to clear our heads or get a coffee. It’s just a bunch of us working on digital stuff in an old industrial building.
