Pioneer Stones International

We are located at Gala No. 86 on V.N. Road, right in the Churchgate area. It’s a bit of an old-school spot for a stone business, but we like being here in the middle of everything. Space is tight in this part of town, so we have to be smart about how we store the stones. Every day is a mix of phone calls and checking on the stock we have in the gala. Churchgate is always moving, and we are just another small part of that bustle. People think of stones and they think of big yards, but we do things differently here on V.N. Road. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and making sure the pieces we get are what the customers need. It’s not always easy getting large items moved through these streets, but we have a system that works for us. We’ve been doing this for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us. The building is older, but it serves its purpose for Pioneer Stones International. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny showroom. It’s just us, some samples, and a lot of paperwork. Sometimes the humidity makes the gala feel a bit heavy, but we just open the doors and keep working. We focus on the stone and the logistics, making sure things get where they need to go. It is just practical work that keeps us busy from morning until evening.
