You can find us at Gold Mist Apartments on Pipe Line Road. It’s right in the Vakola part of Santacruz East. Being in an apartment building makes it feel a bit different than a standard storefront. You walk in past the main gate and head to the first unit. We’ve got the regular setup inside. There is a small area for people to sit down while they wait. The walls are painted a plain color, nothing fancy. Outside on Pipe Line Road, it gets pretty busy with scooters and cars going by all day long. Sometimes the noise from the street drifts in if the window is open, but we usually keep things shut to stay quiet. We start the day by wiping down the counters and checking the schedule. It is mostly a local crowd that comes by since they live in the apartments nearby or just down the street. We’ve got a small cupboard for files and another one for the supplies we use every day. The lighting is okay, though we had to change a few tubes last month to keep it bright enough. It’s just a standard workspace where we spend most of our hours. Nothing is overly decorated; we just have what we need to get through the day's work. It stays fairly cool inside even when it’s hot out in Santacruz. We just keep the door unlocked during hours and wait for the bell to ring so we know someone has arrived for their visit.
