Pawar Polyclinic

We are located over at Madhav Nagar, right on S V Road in Andheri West. Specifically, we are at number 9, which is around the 30-D area on Cawasji Patel Street. It’s a busy spot since Andheri Railway Station is so close to the polyclinic. You can hear the trains if you listen closely during a quiet moment, but those moments are rare. Most of the time, it's the sound of the traffic and people shouting outside. The polyclinic has been a part of this neighborhood for a while now. We have a few rooms where different doctors sit throughout the week. The waiting space is usually full of people from the nearby chawls and buildings. We keep a big register on the front desk to track who comes in. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound, but we’ve gotten used to it. It’s a practical place. We don’t have those big glass walls or expensive rugs. It’s just a clinic for the people around here. We start early and stay until the last patient is seen. Some days that means we are here quite late into the evening. The tea stall around the corner is where we get our morning chai. It’s a simple routine we follow. We see all kinds of cases every day. It’s just how things are in this part of Andheri. We keep the files in order and do our work.
