Partap Machinery Trading Co.

Partap Machinery Trading Co. is tucked away at number 8 in the Gurunanak Udyog Bhavan on L.B.S. Marg in Bhandup. It’s a pretty old building and the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up again. We have a lot of crates and boxes stacked up nearly to the ceiling in some parts of the room. It’s a bit cramped but we manage to find what we need eventually. L.B.S. Marg is always loud with traffic and the sound of horns blowing all day long. We have been here for a long time and seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Our space is mostly just shelves and a small area where we sit to take phone calls. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit because everything has a thin layer of dust on it. We usually eat our lunch together at the small table in the back. Sometimes the rain in Bhandup gets so heavy that we have to move the boxes away from the windows. We deal with a lot of different people coming through the doors looking for parts. We don’t do much talking unless it’s about the work at hand. Most of our day is spent checking the inventory and making sure things are ready to be sent out to wherever they are going next.
