Our office is on the fifth floor of Vyom Arcade, right across from Eupharma. If you know Vile Parle East, you know it can get pretty crowded around Subhash Road. We’ve been in this building for a good bit now. We handle tools for making tablets—the kind used in pharma. It’s a lot of technical stuff, looking at designs and making sure the metal pieces are right. The elevator in this building is sometimes slow, so we end up waiting around a lot talking to the other people who work in the arcade. Inside, we have our desks and a lot of drawings spread out. It’s not a huge space, but it fits us. Most of the day is spent on the phone or checking specifications on the computer. We get a lot of noise from the street below, especially during rush hour. It's a busy part of town, which is good for getting things moved around. We aren't really the type to have a big polished showroom. Usually, customers just call us up or send an email, and we figure out what kind of tablet press tools they need for their machines. Sometimes we have lunch together at the small spots nearby. It’s a regular job with regular people. We just make sure the dimensions are correct because in this line of work, even a tiny mistake matters. We’ve got stacks of files from years ago that we really should organize better, but we always seem to find what we need eventually.
