Chirag Marble & Ceramics

Our shop, Chirag Marble & Ceramics, sits right on Dr B. A. Road, directly across from the Maharashtra Guest House in Parel. It’s a pretty central location, so there is always something going on outside our doors. We’ve got a lot of marble samples and ceramic tiles crammed into the space. Most of the time, the floor is covered in dust from people walking in and out. We spend a lot of time showing customers different patterns and colors. Some people come in knowing exactly what they want for their kitchen or bathroom, while others just stare at the stacks for an hour. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us here making sure the orders go out correctly. Parel has changed a lot over the years, but we’re still here in the same spot. It gets crowded during peak hours, and parking is always a bit of a headache for our visitors. We try to keep things organized, but with so many tile designs, it's a constant battle. We handle the loading and unloading ourselves most days. It’s a local business, through and through. We know the neighbors and the guest house staff across the way. We just focus on getting the right marble to the right person without any complicated talk. It’s just how we operate every day from morning to evening.
