We’ve been here at Amba Krupa Chawl for a while now. It’s a busy little spot in Ganesh Nagar, right in Dahisar East. If you know Rawal Pada, you know how things are around here. It’s mostly just us doing our thing every day. My name is Pranay and I run things with some help. We aren't a big shop with fancy signs or anything like that. It’s just room 5/05. Most people just walk by or stop in because they live nearby. It’s a crowded area but it feels like home. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Some new buildings went up, but our chawl stays pretty much the same. We handle work as it comes in. Sometimes it's quiet, other days it gets quite hectic. We don't have a big office staff. It is just a straightforward setup where we get the job done. You can find us near the main path. People usually just ask for the Panchal family if they get lost. We like staying local. Mumbai is huge, but Dahisar East has its own pace. We don't try to be something we aren't. Just regular folks working hard and trying to make a living. If you’re ever in Rawal Pada, you’ll see us there. There’s no need for anything fancy when simple work is what people need. We just keep our heads down and stay busy. That is all.
