Onward

We are located in Andheri, which anyone who lives in Mumbai knows is a place that never really stops moving. It’s a hectic part of town but that’s where Onward is based. Our space isn't huge. It’s actually pretty cramped once everyone is inside but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. You can hear the trains and the honking from the street all day long. It’s just the background noise of our working life. We don't have a big reception area or anyone to open the door for you. Usually, whoever is closest to the entrance just hops up. We spend a lot of time drinking chai and looking at the work pile. It isn't some polished corporate environment. There are wires running along the floor and stacks of files that probably should have been put away months ago. Mumbai life is fast so we just try to keep pace with everything. Some days the humidity makes the office feel a bit stuffy but we just open the windows and deal with it. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy address. Andheri is where we belong because it’s central and everyone can get here easily enough. It’s just a group of people trying to make a living and get things done right. We’ve been in this spot for a while and we don't see ourselves moving anytime soon.
