Onus Advertising

You can find us in Sion, just above the Nayab Tea House. It’s very close to the railway station, so you can hear the trains passing by all day long. The smell of tea and snacks from downstairs usually wafts up into our office. We do advertising work here, which mostly means sitting at computers and dealing with printers. It’s not a large team, just a few of us working on designs and layouts. Sometimes we have to go out and check on sites where boards are being put up. The office is a bit cramped with old files and sample prints from past jobs. We don’t have fancy coffee machines or a big reception area. Most of the time, it's just the sound of the fans and the clicking of mice. We talk to clients about what they want to say on their posters or ads. Sometimes they have clear ideas, and other times we have to figure it out as we go. It’s a lot of back and forth. We’ve been in this Sion spot for a while now. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful. We just try to get the work out on time. If there’s a mistake, we fix it. It’s a practical way of working without any big fluff. Onus Advertising is just a local spot where we try to get things done.
