Omkar Shine

Omkar Shine is located right at Chembur Chowkhandi Wadi, near the Chowkhandi Char Rasta, number 11. It’s a busy little corner. We’ve been here for a bit now, focusing on making things look a bit better. Whether it's cleaning or polishing, we just get on with it. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s tucked in with all the other local businesses near the crossroads. I usually have a few rags and buckets around. It gets dusty in Chembur with all the traffic, so there’s always plenty to do. I didn't want a big corporate setup. I like being on the ground where I can talk to the people walking by. Some days the humidity makes the work hard, but we keep at it. We don't have a big team of experts, just a few local guys who know how to work hard. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of items to work on. You can find us easily if you know the Char Rasta area. I’m usually there from early morning until the sun goes down. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy. I don't spend money on ads or flyers. People just see the work we do and tell their friends. That’s how we’ve stayed open this long. Just a simple shop in a busy neighborhood doing our best.
