Oberoi Towers

Oberoi Towers has this space in Maker Chambers V, which is right in the heart of Nariman Point in Mumbai. Our office is specifically at Bastian Chekola 606. If you know Mumbai, you know how Nariman Point gets during the week. It is all suits and people rushing to meetings. Our office is on the sixth floor, and it’s a pretty standard workspace. We have the usual stuff—desks, computers, and a lot of coffee being made in the small pantry. It gets very busy around lunch when everyone spills out into the streets to find something to eat. Being in Maker Chambers means we are surrounded by all sorts of other businesses, so there is always someone new in the elevator. We don’t have those massive views of the ocean from every window, but we are close enough to feel the breeze sometimes. The building is one of those older ones that has seen a lot of history in the city. We spend our days here going through files and taking calls. It is a functional spot, not a showroom. We’ve tried to keep the interior simple so we can actually focus on getting things done. The traffic around Nariman Point can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually end up staying a bit late to let it clear out. It is just a regular office life in one of the city's busiest districts.
