Oberoi Constructions

You can find us over at A 701 Beach Classic, right off the Gorai Link Road in Borivali West. We’ve been operating out of this Chickoo Wadi area for a good bit of time now. Working in construction means our days are usually pretty long and filled with site visits or looking over drawings. Oberoi Constructions isn't some massive corporate entity with hundreds of floors; we’re right here near Kanti Park. We deal with the day-to-day reality of building stuff in Mumbai, which means handling the rain, the traffic, and the paperwork that never seems to end. Most of our time is spent making sure the materials arrive and the guys on site know what the plan is for the afternoon. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on progress. We don’t really have a big marketing team. Most people know us because they’ve seen our projects around the neighborhood or know someone we built for. It gets busy, especially when a deadline is coming up, but that’s the nature of the job. Our office is a place where we sit down and try to figure out how to solve the latest problem that popped up on a site. It’s practical work. We just show up every morning and try to get the projects finished so families can actually move in. Being based in Borivali is convenient for us, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of this part of the city.
