Not Working Now

Our office is in Flat 47 at Juhu Khadi Niwas, right on Gulmohar Road. Being in Jvpd Juhu means we are in a busy part of Mumbai, but our flat stays pretty quiet most of the time. Not Working Now is the name on our door, though we do actually get stuff done. It is a bit of a cramped space because we have a lot of old files and boxes stacked up in the corners. We aren't some big corporate firm with a lobby or a receptionist. If you ring the bell, one of us just gets up from the kitchen table to let you in. We started here because it was convenient and we never really felt the need to move to a proper commercial building. The fans are a bit noisy in the summer, so we have to talk louder to hear each other over the humming. We like being in this part of Mumbai because the food nearby is great. We usually get tea from the stall at the corner twice a day. Our setup is very basic with just a few laptops and a lot of notebooks. We don't have a big team, just a couple of people who have known each other for years. It’s an honest, small operation where we just do our best with what we have and don't worry about being fancy.
