Nokta Stones Pvt. Ltd. is located over in Santacruz East. We are at B-7, Modat Chawl in Dawri Nagar, right near Gate No 1 on A.J Marg. If you are driving on the Western Express Highway, we are just off the service road. You can hear the traffic from the highway all day long, that constant hum of cars and trucks going by. Being in a chawl means the space is tight and we are close to our neighbors. We deal with stones, so there is always a bit of grit on the floor and heavy samples lying around. The area is quite busy, and there’s always something happening on the street outside. We get a lot of people stopping by because they saw us from the main road. The service road can be a bit of a mess with parked vehicles, but that’s just how it is in this part of Mumbai. We’ve got a small team here. Most of the day is spent checking on orders or looking at the different types of stone we have coming in. It’s not a fancy lifestyle. We wear practical clothes because things get dirty when you’re moving stone around. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the drivers who bring the supplies. It is a very hands-on kind of business. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us in the office making sure everything gets where it needs to go.
