You’ll find Nitco Tiles Ltd. in a place called Jokhim Estate, specifically at R.No 8 in C/No 7. We’re located right behind the Mangatram petrol pump in the Pratap Nagar area of Bhandup West. It’s a very local, industrial spot in Mumbai. The estate is always buzzing with activity, and things can get pretty cramped with all the trucks and workers moving around. Our office and storage space aren't fancy at all. We have the basics we need to manage our tile business and not much else. It gets hot and humid, like most places in Mumbai, and during the rains, we have to be extra careful with the stock. We don’t bother with marketing language or trying to sound bigger than we are. We just focus on the tiles and the people who need them. Most of our day is spent checking invoices and making sure the deliveries are on schedule, which is a challenge with Mumbai traffic. We’ve been in Bhandup 400 078 for a long time and we know how the system works here. It’s a practical, down-to-earth way of doing things. We don’t have a mission statement or a polished brand image. We’re just a group of guys working in an estate, making sure the tiles get out to the customers. It’s hard work, it’s noisy, and it’s a bit messy, but it’s what we do every single day. We stay busy and we keep it moving despite the heat.
