Nirmal Clinic

Nirmal Clinic is over in Sector 4, right at Shop No. 4 on Plot No. 14. It’s a small place, just a single shop unit really. You might miss it if you’re driving too fast, but the locals know the spot. It’s mostly just a room for the doctor and a small area for people to wait their turn. We have a few chairs and a small table with some old magazines that nobody really reads anymore. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it swept clean. It’s the kind of place where you go when you have a nagging cough or a bit of a fever and don’t want to go to the big hospital. The doctor usually knows everyone’s history without having to look it up too much. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who handle the appointments and the medicine. The light in the back room flickers sometimes, but we haven't gotten around to changing the bulb yet. It’s quiet in the afternoons, which is a nice break from the morning rush. We don’t use any fancy computers for the records; everything is written down in big ledgers. It feels a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us and the people who live nearby. If the shop next door is playing music, you can hear it through the wall, but it’s usually just soft background noise. Most people just walk over since it's in the heart of the sector. We’re just here to help out the neighbors with their health.
