We spend most of our time here at the New Mahalaxmi Silk Mill premises. It's an old compound in Lower Parel West, right on N.M. Joshi Marg. Nilgai Food has been running from floor G-1 for a while now. Things get pretty busy during the day, especially with all the movement around the Mathuradas Mill area. We handle a lot of food products and supplies. Sometimes the traffic outside is a nightmare, but we manage to get things done. It's not a fancy office or anything, just a practical space where we pack things and keep track of orders. Most of the guys here have been with us for years. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall well. Work starts early. We focus on getting the boxes out and making sure the inventory is right. It’s just how we do things here. The building has that old Mumbai feel to it. You might have seen our sign if you've walked past the compound gate. We don't really do much advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to this part of Lower Parel for ages. It’s a lot of manual work and coordination. We try to keep things simple and just stick to what we know about the food industry. Usually, someone is always around if you drop by during regular hours. It's a bit dusty, but it works for us. We don't have a big corporate structure. Everyone just chips in where they are needed. It’s a small operation but we keep things moving.
