Nikhil Koparde

I’m located at Santacruz West D 3. It’s a small place, really just a room where I get my work done. I’ve lived and worked in this part of Mumbai for a long time. The building is one of those older ones that has seen better days, but it works for me. I don’t have any fancy signs or a big reception area. Most people who come here already know me or were told by a friend where to find me. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads, but you still hear the rickshaws and the street vendors throughout the day. I have my desk, a couple of chairs, and some shelves for my things. It’s not very organized, to be honest. There’s usually a pile of papers somewhere that I need to get to. I spend my mornings having tea and looking over what needs to be done for the day. It’s a one-man show for the most part. I don’t have a big corporate background or any of that. I just do the work as it comes in. Sometimes I stay late if there’s a lot to finish, but usually I head out when the sun goes down. It’s a simple way to make a living. I like the neighborhood and the people around here. There’s a certain way things happen in Santacruz that you just get used to. Stop by if you’re nearby.
