Nightingale Consultancy

We are based out of a flat in the Saket Co-op Housing Society. It is on Hare Krishna Road in the Chaitanyanagar area of Powai. Being in Mumbai, the space is a bit tight, but we make it work. It is number 5. We chose this spot because it is a bit quieter than being right on the main road, though you can still hear the city hum. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at documents. Consultancy sounds like a big word, but mostly we are just helping people figure out their paperwork or giving advice on things they aren't sure about. We have a couple of old fans that keep the air moving during the humid months. Sometimes clients come over and we sit in the small area we cleared out for meetings. We usually have some tea from the shop downstairs while we talk. The society itself is quite old and has a lot of trees around, which is nice when you need a break from the computer screen. We keep our files in these big steel cabinets that have been with us since we started. It’s not a corporate office with a view of the lake, just a regular workplace where we try to stay on top of things. Every day is different depending on who calls us, and that keeps us busy enough to not notice the time passing.
